The Executive Chairman is the Chief Executive Officer of the Commission and is responsible for the day-to-day administration and strategic leadership of the institution.
Working closely with the Board, the Executive Chairman ensures that the Commission effectively performs its constitutional mandate. This includes supervising departments within the Commission, coordinating national monitoring efforts, engaging with government institutions, and representing the Commission in national policy discussions
The office of the Executive Chairman also plays a central role in strengthening collaboration with Ministries, Departments, and Agencies to improve compliance with federal character guidelines.
Through strategic leadership and institutional reforms, the Executive Chairman works to position the Commission as a proactive national institution promoting fairness, equity, and national cohesion.
